Why I am looking for a Bernese Mountain Dog :
I have owned a Bernese before and they make fabulous companions
A typical day for my new dog would be:
Daily walk - increasing as the puppy grows. Constant companion since I am retired.
The puppy will have the run of my garden and ground floor of the cottage I live in.
As with my previous Bernese, the foot of the stairs seems to be the favourite place despite having a dedicated dog bed
