Why I am looking for a Coton De Tulear :
I am looking for a small companion dog that requires moderate exercise that is playful, affectionate, and highly intelligent. I do not mind the grooming needs. I currently work full-time from home but when we return to the office I intend on keeping my dog with me as I work at a dog-friendly workplace. My job can also be done fully remotely.
A typical day for my new dog would be:
My partner and I live together in a two-bedroom flat in London. We have no kids or other pets. The dog's bed will be kept in the bedroom with us. Their cage (and where they will sleep when we bring them home) will be in the living room with an additional bed in the office so that they can be near us while working.
We intend to take our dog to puppy classes, then doggy daycare at least once a week. Long walks of at least 45 minutes will occur during the afternoon or early evening and their bedtime routine will consist of quick grooming and teeth brushing. If the dog is to be left alone during the week for more than four hours, we will organize a dog walker to come by for a long walk.
During the weekend I don’t intend to go places where I cannot take my dog, and my current hobbies and activities involve visiting new coffee shops around London, taking long walks around the city, and seeing my friends who are all dog-friendly or have dogs themselves.
