Why I am looking for a Gordon Setter :
I have had 2 Gordon’s, one a puppy (bitch)30 years ago, and many years later a lovely bitch that needed a new home- now some 10 years later with grandchildren now at more sensible ages and retired we would love to welcome another Gordon into our family- I am on the Gordon Setter puppy list and am not trying to jump their queue but enquiring of breeders who advertise elsewhere
A typical day for my new dog would be:
We live in a semi rural area and walk regularly from our front door so this would be the first morning outing followed by another walk in the afternoon- we have parks. Woods and a lake area nearby- our usual daily routine is in our garden or relaxing indoors. Now retired we would spend a lot of time with the dog but it is important they feel comfortable on their own so there would be times on their own - our previous Gordon’s had the run of downstairs at night with their own basket (often preferring the sofas!!)
