Why I am looking for a Cocker Spaniel :
I love spaniels! They are intelligent, lively, loving, playful and affectionate and we are very excited about owning our first dog as a family. My boys adore dogs too.
We would like to find a show cocker spaniel puppy in August this year. I also have a good friend who would like a show cocker spaniel puppy too. We would keep the puppies, which we hope would be siblings, friendly and often walk them together. We would also look after each other’s dogs whilst the other family were on holiday in the future.
A typical day for my new dog would be:
Lots of cuddles and a walk first thing in the morning, then breakfast and a drink.
I work mainly from home so our dog would have company most days.
I would make time to play with our dog and let him sleep when needed!
He would be fed according to your instructions.
We would walk him again later in the day and he would access to our garden whenever he wants to go out.
He would sleep downstairs in the kitchen/diner or living room and if advisable, I would sleep near him there too to start with, to make sure he settles in well with us.
I think he would have a crate as a puppy if you agree that’s a good idea and of course a cosy dog bed and plenty of blankets to snuggle up into. Plenty of toys as a puppy too and some treats when he’s good.
