I enjoyed success in the early 90's showing an Italian Greyhound Berinshill Aldaniti - who was a meteoric star for a first show dog, winning Best Puppy in Breed at his first show UK Toydog Champ show and 3rd out of 63 Utility and Toys in Puppy stakes. He then won Reserve Best of Breed at his first time at Crufts the following March. Having spent years overseas, when I returned I wanted small dogs again to show and a different breed, so not to compare, so I went for Chinese Crested. To improve health and genetics I imported my boy, Star - B-Galaxy Chocolate Dream of Coffee at Calabrinda - Joint Top Winning male Powder Puff UK 2021 in his first 6 months of showing, lightly shown and only 1st places counted! He is the only Chocolate and Blonde powder Puff showing in the UK. He has his Kennel Club Stud Book number which means he is qualified for Crufts for life. I followed Star by importing my Hairless Fawn and White girl Lyra - Hedwiga Modern Family at Calabrinda, and then I imported my Hairless Black and White girl Celeste - Jandira Modern Family at Calabrinda. All qualified for Crufts 2023/24/25 at their first qualifying shows. Lyra has her Kennel Club Stud Book Number also. I have extensively health tested Star, Lyra and Celeste 11 individual health tests (some dna, some physical). The KC recommends 2 dna tests. Lyra and Star have mated, and a litter of 5 arrived 9th August 2025.
