Colours from the breed standard include Black & Tan, Brindle, Chocolate & Tan, Chocolate Dapple & Tan, Fawn, Red, Shaded Red, and Silver Dapple & Tan. The only white permissible is a small patch on the chest but this is not desirable. Nose and nails black in all colours except chocolate & tan and chocolate dapple & tan where they are brown.
Any other colours are considered non-breed standard.
