Why I am looking for a English Springer Spaniel :
I like dogs you can train and never owned a retriever. Had collies in the past and enjoyed working with them, but want to try a different breed. ESS appear to be a smart breed, enjoy lots of exercise and I have friends with ESS with great temperaments.,
A typical day for my new dog would be:
I work from home so the dog will be with me all day. On the odd days when I visit the office my husband will work from home. The dog will be able access the garden all day. I exercise every morning for 1-2 hrs so the dog will join me. They will also go out of an evening with my husband. I plan on trying some dog activities depending on their temperament. I’ve done agility and heel work in the past.
