I am looking for a boy or girl.
Why I am looking for a Papillon :
Primarily because they are very bright. I have a friend who owned one and I was constantly amazed how intelligent they are.
Also, I want a smallish dog but am a keen walker and can give my pup lots of exercise.
I plan to do puppy training classes (Lanchester, near my home) and then dog agility training (yet to find out where).
I have wanted a Papillon for as long as I can remember and would have been an owner long before now had I not been working full time. Every Papillon I meet I ‘talk’ to and get to know all about them, plus I take a photo or two of course!
Early retirement now allows me to search for my dream and get a constant companion. Please help me get the puppy of my dreams.
A typical day for my new dog would be:
I live on my own so my puppy will be exercised morning, noon and night as needed. Pup will not be left alone for very long but I do plan to get them used to spending short spells alone.
Let’s be honest, they’ll probably sleep on my bed in their puppy bed!
My late cat used to sleep in a cat bed, on my bed, and oh my God how I miss her creeping up sometimes and sleeping by my shoulder.
