Why I am looking for a Labrador Retriever :
I have owned both of these breeds in the past, sadly my springer spaniel passed away just before Christmas and this is the first time that I have been without a dog and it feels awful.
A typical day for my new dog would be:
I usually get up early, so would go for a quick early morning walk. Being semi retired I am around most days my dog would come with me the days that I work I only do a couple of gardening jobs locally so have always taken my dog with me.
I like to go for a couple of long walks each day and have fields, footpaths and river just outside my front door. The dog would have a bed in the living room and my bedroom as have all my previous dogs. It is very rare that it would be at home alone.
