Why I am looking for a Bearded Collie :
We have had 5 since 1997. First 4 were show types but current one is from working stock which we would prefer as the coat is easier to keep
A typical day for my new dog would be:
Walk after breakfast depending on weather, to the park, through town to the wetlands 1.5 hours or short car journey to local circular walks often with lunch at a country pub. Short walk 30 mins to the park after dinner in the summer but before dinner in the winter. Most walks have some time off the lead. Grooming in the evenings in front of the tv. Current dog only gets left if we need to go shopping or meet people where dogs are not allowed which is rare. If we think we will be more than 2.5 hours we ask a friend to pop round to spend some time in her company.
