Why I am looking for a Newfoundland :
We had a Japanese Aketa rescue bitch from 6 months old to 10 years 11 months old to her passing quite recently & can't replace her ever. Our only way forward is to find a breed that will fit into our family and out of the large breeds the Newfoundland fits perfectly.
A typical day for my new dog would be:
We rise approximately 6.30am have coffee and walk our dog for 30 minutes in the park & through woodland home for breakfast; my 40 year old goes to work on the school crossing. I'm a retired college lecturer & not able to walk any distance. My son would walk our dog again for 30 minutes lunchtime & after work in the afternoon or early evening walk our dog for approximately 60 minutes along the canal then home to feed her. Before bed a quick wee in the garden.
