Why I am looking for a Dachshund (Miniature Wire-Haired) :
My husband had a wire haired dachshund as their family dog when he was a child and loved her
We lost our last dog at Christmas and looking for a second dog to keep our other dog company and bring us joy
A typical day for my new dog would be:
I am now retired so have time to spend welcoming a new puppy into the home so the time on their own will be kept to a minimum
On a typical day I walk the dog for an hour or so
We also have a large garden backing onto a 5 acre field which we own
The dogs sleep in our kitchen
