Why I am looking for a Golden Retriever :
We have experience with goldens as my parents currently have one. We love their kind and gentle nature and their temperament. We have an enclosed garden and lots of green space nearby to accommodate their exercise needs.
A typical day for my new dog would be:
I currently work from home full time, and will still be WFH 3 or 4 days a week after the pandemic, so most weekdays there will be someone at home all day with the dog. On the odd occasion we are both in the office, there are lots of good dog daycare facilities nearby that they could go to which would help socialising with other dogs. There is a small park across the road from our house for daily walks, and we usually go for longer walks each weekend, either in the Yorkshire Dales, Peak District or Lake District.
