Why I am looking for a Basenji :
I have been considering getting a dog for a few years now and settled on basenjis as a breed around a year ago, lots of things attracted me to the bread, I feel basenji are unique in that they vocalise differently from other dogs and have cleaning habits similar to a cat which I find endearing. I also like the playful yet aloof temperament of basenjis and I like their independent mind set, also I want a dog that is full of energy to enjoy lots of play time with my two daughters. I love how basenjis look, again they are unique in their appearance and their Proud stance and the way they hold themselves is a real plus for me, there is no other breed I would choose now I have fallen for basenjis. Please help us find one to become a part of our family.
A typical day for my new dog would be:
I am a professional tree surveyor so my job is basically one big dog walk, my dog would be able to come to work with me every day! Walking around woodlands country parks and streets while I survey the trees, returning to the car regularly to warm up/cool down and to eat and hydrate. Days when it wouldn’t be possible for the dog to come with me (very rarely) it would be going with my partner to her dog grooming shop for the day, so in essence it would basically never be left alone be very well exercised and cared for while our and a boy and would be regularly socialised with other people and dogs, before returning home to be showered with love and attention from my children.
