I am looking for a boy or girl.
Why I am looking for a Japanese Shiba Inu :
We love the look of the dog, but think more importantly the temperament and needs of the dog would be perfect for us and the family.
I'm a keen runner and work from home, so would love the companionship for walks / runs and we have two young children who are a bit young now, but would love having a family pet in the future, other than the cat :)
We also think a Shiba would be a good fit for our cat, as he's a special cat too and is very sociable, loyal and good company, much like a dog in many ways!
A typical day for my new dog would be:
Walk with Dad in the morning
Depending on the day of week, playtime with kids / Mum or a trip out somewhere if Mum is off work
Morning snooze
Lunch with Mum / Dad
Afternoon walk with Mum / Dad / kids depending on day of week
Family playtime in garden / home
Evening walk with Mum / Dad
Snooze / family snuggle in the evening
