Why I am looking for a Border Collie :
We once owned an Alsatian collie who had a wonderful temperament. We know of the breed that they re intelligent loyal would fit into an active lifestyle as we enjoy a lot of walking and outdoor pursuits. Both of us are semi retired and now have the time to commit to a dog again. Our friends also own a border collie and are already aware of what attention they require but also how loyal they can be.
A typical day for my new dog would be:
As mentioned we are semi retired also working from home. Daytime would consist of early morning walks a few times throughout the day. We live in a village so have access to wide open spaces. We had been very much in a routine with our previous dog and was very much in tune with what excercise he needed. We also own a caravan and our intention would be to be able to take our dog away with us. We used to regularly camp and owned a campervan with our previous dog so again very much aware of their needs.
